The Graduate School, the Career Connections Center, and IFAS/CALS Department of Agronomy will host events during the Spring 2022 semester on entering the job market.
Designed for late-stage graduate students and postdocs, the events will focus primarily on non-academic careers, although some information will apply to academic job searches as well.
1. Seminars on essential skills to identify, pursue, and secure professional positions
2. UF-A2i. Intensive immersion days to develop professional skills and interact with industry leaders (space limited to 50 participants). If you are chosen to participate in A2i, you must also attend all the seminars for part one above.
More information on both parts of the series is available below. The application opens November 15, 2021. Applicants will be admitted on a rolling basis, so apply early to guarantee a spot.
“UF-A2i is an excellent way for companies to reach high performing students…my colleagues and I were greatly impressed…” Matthew Johnston, Global Head of Vegetables, Syngenta
The same application is used for both parts of the Job Search Series. You can indicate in the application if you'd like to be considered for the A2i portion.
