Write Time is a new initiative by our Office of Graduate Professional Development (OGPD) to help you connect to other graduate students and create a writing community. Offered twice-a-week, Write Time is a casual drop-in hour on Zoom for you to meet others virtually and work on your writing projects.
Write Time is your time to be productive in the company of others trying to do the same. This space is designed to help you cope with potential feelings of isolation in the writing stage of your studies and/or due to quarantine. Get the coffee shop experience without the $7 latte!
No registration or commitment is necessary to attend Write Time. Simply join the Zoom meeting during the designated times and start writing!
Note: Write Time will resume the week of May 10, 2021. Check back soon for our Summer Semester Write Time schedule!
Upon entry, all students will be muted, but if you wish to have a verbal discussion with another graduate student, ask the coordinator to be put in a breakout room.
Join the Office of Graduate Diversity Intiatives (OGDI)'s Virtual Writing Wednesdays for a supportive environment at a set time each week to help you progress towards your writing goals.
Wednesdays: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
